I HAVE HAD THE PLEASURE OF SOME GREAT FISHING TRIPS TO THE GULF; HOWEVER, BY FAR, THE MOST PRODUCTIVE TRIP WAS WITH CAPTAIN SHAWN LANIER THE LATTER PART OF SEPTEMBER-2012. WE SPENT 3 DAYS ON THE WATER AND LIMITED OUT ALL 3 DAYS. EVEN THOUGH WE COULD NOT KEEP ANY MORE FISH, CAPTAIN SHAWN ALLOWED US TO CONTINUE TO CATCH AND RELEASE. IT IS AMAZING WHEN YOU ARE RELEASING 25" FISH BECAUSE YOU HAVE MAXED OUT. TO ANYONE READING THIS, IF YOU WANT TO CATCH FISH, CALL CAPTAIN SHAWN LANIER. THANKS CAPTAIN

Captain Shawn put us on the red fish first thing that morning and kept us on them all day. We caught well over 100 fish between the 2 of us that day and the smallest was 16 lbs. My arm and shoulder was so sore I could barely hold the steering wheel on the ride home. My father in law went with me on the trip and he was physically exhausted and just quit fishing the last hour. There was one time that day that I went 4 cast without a hit otherwise it was every cast or every other cast was a red!

Captain Shawn did a great job!!! We fished for 2 days and caught redfish of every size. We caught our limit and had fun cathing the big bulls. Captain Shawn's hospitality and fishing expertise were outstanding! Thanks again Captain Shawn!

Captain Shawn put us on fish every day for 3 days straight! We caught between 40-50 fish per day!
We are looking forward to our next trip.

Captain Shawn is a safety first captain. We caught fish and had a great time and Shawn kept an eye out for water conditions, ships and ship wakes. Definitely book the 4 night/3 day package. Excellent fishing and excellent food at Shawn's spacious lodge.

I just wanted to say that fishing with Shawn was the most fun my family and I have had in years. He knows how to find the speckled trout and redfish and his accomodations were top notch. I appreciate his patience with my children and he worked hard to make our trip enjoyable and fun. Kudos Shawn, thanks again!
